Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This policy explains what information GLOWMANCY collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. GLOWMANCY (glowmancy.com) is operated by Runistore LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). The books are written by Nigar Rustamova.

1. What we collect

When you browse the site

  • Server logs. Like every web server, ours records the IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page and browser type of each request. We use these logs to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
  • Visit counter. A small first-party script counts page views so we can see how many people visit. It sets no cookie and does not track you across other sites. Your IP address is used to estimate your country and is not sold or shared for advertising.
  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or social-media tracking pixels. If we add an analytics service in the future, we will update this policy first.

When you use the Knowledge Assistant or search

The assistant and the search run inside your browser on data that ships with the page. Your questions are not sent to us or to any AI provider.

When you buy a book

Checkout is handled by our payment provider (currently Payhip, which uses card processors such as Stripe and PayPal). We receive your name, email address, country, the items you bought, the price and taxes paid, and the order status. We never see or store your full card number. Your email address is used to deliver the book, to stamp your copy as yours, to answer support requests and to process refunds.

When you contact us

If you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Newsletter

If we open a reader newsletter, we will only email you if you sign up yourself, and every email will carry a one-click unsubscribe link.

2. Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To deliver what you bought and provide support: performance of a contract.
  • To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
  • To keep the site secure and understand overall traffic: our legitimate interests.
  • To send a newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Who processes it for us

We share information only with the services that run the business: our hosting provider (the server that hosts this site), our payment provider and its card processors, and our email provider. Each may only use it to provide its service to us. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. How long we keep it

  • Server logs: up to 12 months.
  • Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 7 years).
  • Support emails: up to 3 years after the last message.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, write to us through the contact page from the email address you used with us. We will reply within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

6. Security

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Children

The site and the books are intended for adults. Soapmaking involves lye, which is dangerous. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown on the site.
